Don’t be chicken, check them for breast cancer.

Global stats show that 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer which leads to fatalities, however early detection can save lives. So together with Sovereign foods, we created a campaign to raise awareness of the issue, and the importance of early detection. T-shirts were created which illustrated how to check for lumps, and were worn by locals who participated in the Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer.

Further more, we donated R2 towards The Pink Drive for every pack of Sovereign breasts sold in-store during October.

During this period we raised over R197 000 which was donated, and we reached a 40% sales growth.
